Dr. Stockheim
Dr. Stockheim is a graduate of the faculty of medicine at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology and performed his internship at Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer – the department of obstetrics and gynecology.
Today, Dr. Stockheim is a senior physician and surgeon within the gynecology department at Sheba and is in charge of the gynecological surgical daycare unit. Dr. Stockheim founded and manages the hysteroscopic clinic at Sheba and is in charge of introducing innovative technologies related to minimal invasive, anesthesia-free hysteroscopic procedures, which he is highly experienced and skilled at.
Dr. Stockheim is a member of the Israel Association for Obstetrics and Gynecology, Israel Society for Gynecological Endoscopy and of the European Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ESGE).
In his private clinic, Dr. Stockheim performs diagnostic and operational hysteroscopies and consults patients in regard to gynecology in general and surgical gynecology in particular.
Dr. Stockheim is highly experienced at performing operational and diagnostic hysteroscopies, late week D&C's, advanced laparoscopies including robotic surgery in benign medical conditions.
Dr. Stockheim has a rich experience performing surgical techniques with emphasis on minimal invasive surgery, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery, open surgery and vaginal surgery. These are some of the surgical procedures he performs:
